Democratic Party Headquarters Open!
The 2024 Campaign is in full gear. We have an opportunity to hire a paid staffer for the office! Fellows will support staff in areas including direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment and cultivation, and administrative support. They will have the opportunity to train with state and national headquarters, cultivate mentor relationships and networking, and gain valuable organizing experience.
Experience is not required, including specific campaign experience. Fellowships run for a maximum of 12 weeks, for up to 30 hours per week. Fellows report directly to Regional Organizers.
Headquarters Location: 4391 W Monroe Rd, Pentwater, MI (Shared Space Studio next to Dollar General)
Office hours have been expanded! More volunteers = more time open!
Mondays from noon - 4:00pm
Wednesdays from 10:00am to 7:00pm
Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00pm

Hey! We recently hosted a post card writing party at our headquarters, and guess what? 50 people came! We are making a difference… and now that campaign season is in full swing, check out upcoming events to see what YOU can do to help out!
We’re also happy to report that our June and July fundraisers were absolutely smashing successes! We not only raised funding to elect Democrats, we had fun in the process. We marched in two local parades - Hart and Pentwater - and proved that we are Loud and Proud Oceana County Democrats!

The Oceana County Democratic Party supports flourishing communities by advocating for and promoting economic growth and equity for all.
Our Purpose
Today’s Democratic Party encourages forward-looking/progressive perspectives through thoughtful, reflective, and respectful exchanges of viewpoints. The Party promotes a strong democracy through free and fair elections, encourages a federal government which regulates business and industry to promote the public interest, ensures a system of fair and impartial justice for all, and supports the most vulnerable of citizens among us. In promoting those values, our party:
A. Advocates for government investment in people through:
Protection of air, land and water
Equal and humane treatment under the law
Support for public safety
Health security for families and individuals
Resources to address education, skill training, jobs and housing needs
B. Organizes the Democratic electorate
C. Aids qualified Democratic candidates for local, county, states, and national elections

The Oceana County Democratic Party meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 PM.
